Balloon and learning conflict

[post-dated]

On Tuesday, pupils were introduced to conflicts and how to resolve them in life.

To start off the lesson, they were grouped into two teams and they had to blow the balloon across the middle line.

During this whole process, some squabbled, some were angry and sad but some were happy and feeling victorious, some refused to take part in the game etc.

After the game, the pupils were told to reflect on how they felt when certain incident happened during the game and how they had handled the feelings.

So children, did you remember what was one thing you learnt to do and not to do when you feel unhappy or angry to the extent that you wanted to squabble with others?
